2026 Trial Information

TRIAL DATES:

Trials are now complete for the 2026 State Titles!

  • 15/U female – Sunday 7th September 2:30pm-5pm
  • 17/U female – Sunday 7th September 5pm-7pm
  • Open – Sunday 7th September 7pm-8pm
  • 17/U Male – Cancelled

VENUE:

Maroondah Nets, Heathmont Rd, Heathmont

COMMITMENT

Selected teams will play in the 2026 Netball Victoria State Titles being held over the Labor Day long weekend of Saturday 9th March to Monday 11th March at the State Netball Centre at Parkville.

All athletes are expected to:

  • Travel to the courts at Parkville:
    • Saturday the 9th of March for the first days play which will start at around midday (15s female and 17s female)
    • Sunday the 10th and Monday the 11th of March (Open)
    • Saturday the 9th of March (17s boys)
  • Athletes will then stay with the team at accommodation in Moonee Valley on the Saturday and Sunday nights (15s female and 17s female only – Open and 17s boys will not require accommodation)
  • Attend all training sessions (approx. 4-5 sessions in total, usually held on Sunday afternoons – TBC).
  • Purchase the Chisholm training top and hoodie (approx. $90 – TBC).
  • Pay any fees levied by the Region
  • Abide by the rules laid down by the Chisholm Region and Netball Victoria.

ELIGIBILITY

  • To be eligible to represent the Chisholm Netball Region, you must have played within an Association within the Chisholm Netball Region (i.e., Ariels, Boroondara, Doncaster & Districts, MENA, Slate Reserve, Whitehorse, etc.). Required game numbers and time frames are specified by Netball Victoria.
  • To be eligible for selection, you must attend the selection day as above. If, however, you are unable to attend, a written letter requesting exemption must be forwarded to the Chisholm Netball Region State Titles Officer prior to selections, for the selection panel’s consideration.

PLEASE NOTE

  • Trialists must wear dark bottoms and a PLAIN white top.
  • Teams will only be entered if sufficient players trial and a competitive team is able to be fielded as a result of those trials.
  • Victorian Netball League (VNL) players are not eligible to play in the State Titles in 2026.
