COACH POSITION DESCRIPTION
Position Title: Chisholm Netball Region Coach
Reports to: Chisholm Netball Region Committee
Location: Chisholm Region
Terms of Employment: 1 year
About Chisholm
The Chisholm Netball Region is one of 19 regions within Victoria who compete in the Netball Victoria State Titles every year. State Titles provides a wonderful opportunity for the regions to come together in the 15/U, 17/U, Open and All Abilities divisions.
The Chisholm Netball Region is made up of the following Associations and
competitions:
- Ariels
- Boroondara Netball Association
- Deakin Play
- Doncaster & Districts Netball Association
- Melbourne East Netball Association
- Park Orchards Netball Association
- Slater Reserve
- Whitehorse Netball Association
Role Overview
The primary role is to coach the appointed Chisholm Netball Region netball team throughout training sessions and at the Netball Victoria State Titles competition over the first weekend in October.

Key Responsibilities
- attend Chisholm Netball Region trials and justly select (with selection panel)
an appropriately aged and skilled team - planning and implementation of suitable training sessions
- physical and mental preparation of athletes for demanding State Titles
weekend - maintain communication of goals, plans and updates with athletes, parents
and the Chisholm Netball Region committee - keep accurate records of training attendance and court time at State Titles
- organisation of appropriate practice matches
- mentor any appointed assistant coach
- work alongside appointed Team Manager
Qualifications
- Minimum Development coaching qualification
- Current Working With Children Check
- Current Netball Victoria membership
Skills, Knowledge, Attributes
- Experience coaching at Representative level or higher
- Demonstrated experience with relevant age group
- Demonstrated strong knowledge of complex netball skills
- Knowledge of Netball Australia Knee Program
